You can browse ScoopSignal without creating an account. We do not sell or rent personal information. We use limited data to operate the site, understand performance, answer messages and provide features you request.
Information we may receive
Our systems may process device and browser details, IP address, pages visited, referral information and basic interaction data. If you email us or create a price alert, we also receive the information you choose to provide, such as your email address and message or alert settings.
How we use it
We use information to run and secure the service, troubleshoot problems, understand how pages are used, respond to enquiries, provide requested alerts, and meet legal obligations.
Cookies and measurement
We use Vercel Web Analytics to count anonymous page views and understand aggregate traffic. It does not use third-party cookies or associate analytics with an individual or IP address. We strip URL query strings and fragments before analytics events are sent.
Sharing and price checks
The price you enter in the tub checker stays in your browser and is not included in shared links or analytics. We count checker actions by day, product, sharing channel and referral generation in our database for up to 90 days. These aggregate counts do not store visitor identifiers, IP addresses or cookies. Shared links include only the product and broad sharing attribution.
Retailer and third-party links
ScoopSignal links to retailer websites that have their own privacy practices. When you follow a link, the destination site controls the information it collects. Review its policy before sharing personal or payment details.
Storage and security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no internet service can promise absolute security. We retain information only for as long as needed for its purpose, operational records or legal requirements.
Your choices
You may ask what personal information we hold about you, or request correction or deletion where applicable. Price-alert emails include a way to unsubscribe. You can also control cookies through your browser.
Children
The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information.
